Who we are:

Image Renaissance Digital Media was created in 1997 by Doug and Yan Stuart. Our mission is to produce exceptional results for our clients by combining visual artistry, digital media technology, old-world craftsmanship, and just a touch of magic.

Our founders bring 25+ years of experience in engineering and graphics software development, much of that time working on products that have revolutionized digital arts. From the first Hewlett-Packard desktop laser printer, to the first desktop-publishing application (PageMaker), Doug and Yan have helped to create the tools and techniques that digital artists now take for granted. Along the way, they worked with some of the industry's top graphic artists and design professionals and honed their own skills into a passion for the digital visual arts.

Each member of the Image Renaissance team brings their own unique perspective and skill-set to focus on your digital media project. An in-depth understanding of traditional photography is combined with state-of-the-art digital tools, technology, and color-science, allowing us to achieve an uncommon level of quality, precision, and consistently excellent results. And even though our success has brought us an ever-widening following of loyal customers, we choose to remain small enough to devote personal attention, artistry, and craftsmanship to every piece of work we do.

We recognize that every project we work on is special. Whether it's a set of master prints for an upcoming gallery exhibition, or the restoration of a treasured heirloom photograph, we understand that each image we touch is part of something that goes well beyond the work we do. Our customers come to us with ideas and dreams and visions, and we put a little of ourselves into making those dreams as real as they can be. Perhaps that's the little touch of magic that we talk about.
